Justice has finally been served!
Two months ago, a deranged welfare leech pleaded guilty to having imprisoned six disabled adults and four children in her basement so she could collect their disability checks. Last week, she finally received justice.
U.S. District Judge Cynthia M. Rufe sentenced Linda Ann Weston, 55, to life in prison plus 80 years, reported Philly.com.
“Her future years in federal prison will be paradise compared to the conditions she imposed on her victims,” the judge said during the sentencing.
Indeed. For a period of 10 years, Weston and a crew of four others not only kept the 10 victims imprisoned, but also sedated them, deprived them of food, made them to use buckets for their bathroom needs and even forced them into prostitution to raise money.
Meanwhile, according to authorities, Weston collected $212,000 in Social Security payments by using “cunning, trickery, force and coercion” to force the victims to designate her as their official caretaker.
“When the individuals tried to escape, stole food, or otherwise protested their treatment, Weston and others punished them by slapping, punching, kicking, stabbing, burning and hitting them with closed hands, belts, sticks, bats and hammers or other objects, including the butt of a pistol,” prosecutors added.
Yet despite having committed such acts of evil, all Weston had to say at her sentencing was this: “I believe in God and God knows what happened.”
“There are a lot of people in this courtroom who know what happened, too,” the judge responded.
The four victims who showed up for the sentencing were pleased with the results and one of them — a disabled woman — reportedly began dancing when she heard that news reporters wanted to interview her.
Regarding this, Weston smiled and asked, “Do you see the transformation God has done to them?”
Further proof that there’s just no explanation for some people other than they are pure evil, invoking the name of God as a tool in deception.
