“We have a president that…”
Donald Trump, who remains in the lead in the GOP presidential primary race, said in a recent public appearance that President Barack Obama can’t admit that radical Islamic terrorism is behind many of the violent attacks happening on American soil.
“We have a president that refuses to use the term,” Trump said. “He refuses to say it. There’s something going on with him that we don’t know about.”
Trump’s comments came in response to the Dec. 2 mass killing that left 14 dead and 21 injured at a Christmas party at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, Calif. Speaking at the Republican Jewish Coalition, the businessman said he believes the incident was “probably related” to “radical Islamic terrorism.”

“Now, our president doesn’t want to use the term,” he commented. “We had another [shooting], which probably was – there was one yesterday, it probably was related. It always happens…but it probably was related. Radical Islamic terrorism.”
The shooters, Syed Farook and wife Tashfeen Malik, both Muslims, were killed by police after a car chase ended in a shootout. Farook was an environmental specialist at the San Bernardino County Public Health Department, which was hosting the party. Farook was at the holiday party but authorities said he left after a dispute, according to news reports.
