The United Nations has once again set its sights on a way to weaken the U.S. Constitution and supersede America’s sovereignty — this time to force “climate change rules” on the country — and Barack Obama is working to hand them the very power they crave.

This time around, the U.N. is engaged in yet another backdoor attempt to control the U.S. through yet another “treaty,” this time in its push to institute so-called “climate change” rules.

As Godfather Politics notes, what could be characterized as a poison pill has been hidden the the U.N.’s International Tribunal of Climate Justice rules. A segment of this treaty would give the U.N. the power to compel sovereign nations to follow its rules and meet its requirements.

The tell-tale regulation is buried in the agreement on page 19 and will be up for adoption at the November 30th climate change conference in Paris. The paragraph in question reads as follows:

“[An International Tribunal of Climate Justice as][A] [compliance mechanism] is hereby established to address cases of non-compliance of the commitments of developed country Parties on mitigation, adaptation, [provision of] finance, technology development and transfer [and][,] capacity-building[,] and transparency of action and support, including through the development of an indicative list of consequences, taking into account the cause, type, degree and frequency of non-compliance.”

With this segment of the treaty seeming to give away any nation’s sovereignty to the U.N., many critics of the agreement fear that Obama fully plans to give this power over U.S. policy to the international organization.

Worse, many of the smaller, third world nations won’t sign onto the treaty unless the U.S. does, and they want that agreement to bind the U.S. so that billions of dollars can be transferred from western nations to them.
