SICK: Mom of Benghazi Hero Reveals What Obama Admin Told Her About Murdered Son
A mother of one of the victims of the Benghazi, Libya, attack in September 2012 said that the State Department told her that she is “not a member of the immediate family,” and therefore not entitled to information about her son’s death.
In an interview on CNN, Patricia Smith, mother of Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith, said that in spite of a years-long quest to find answers, she’s been stymied at every turn by an Obama administration — including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — that doesn’t want her to know the truth.
“(Clinton) has not called me. She has not contacted me. She has not given me any information except to tell me that I am not a member of the immediate family, and I do not need to know,” Smith said during the Wednesday morning interview.
Carol Costello, the CNN host, was visibly shocked.
“They told you that?” she asked. “Oh my goodness.”Costello also played Smith the notorious clip of Hillary responding to question on Benghazi before Congress with the question, “what difference at this point does it make?” (Clinton is expected to testify before the House Select Committee on Benghazi on Thursday.)
“She’s lying, she’s absolutely lying,” Smith responded. “I saw on the TV the bloody fingerprints on the walls over there. I asked specifically, ‘Are those my son’s fingerprints crawling down the walls, the bloody fingerprints?’”
