This rhetoric comes on the heels of more poll data that suggests Paul’s national campaign for the GOP nomination is in serious trouble.The Rand Paul camp continues to say that it can successfully navigate the waters of both elections; when asked about potential worries regarding his Senate seat at home, Paul reportedly firmly said to reporters: “No”.At home in Kentucky, Paul has missed several appearances that are traditionally attended by the Senator. A member of the Executive Council in his home state said, “He needs to pay attention to the Senate race, or we could lose the seat”.
