Obama & Islam Are Winning With Common Core - Here's How
The federal education standards known as “Common Core” have created a flashpoint among parents across the country who resent the standardization of school curricula. Yet despite the outcry, as Politico reports, “the standards that naysayers love to call “Obamacore” have become the reality on the ground for roughly 40 million students — or about four out of every five public school kids.”
So it appears Common Core is now entrenched.
Standardization is one thing – but is there yet another deeper concern about Common Core? No doubt some readers will find this difficult to fathom, but could it be that Common Core has as one of its goals the “Islamasization” of the United States? Sound crazy? Well, you ain’t heard nothing yet.
First some background. In 2009, you might recall President Obama’s speech in Cairo (some folks dubbed his trip “the apology tour”). During this speech, Americans were reminded of the Muslim contributions to the history of our country and the Egyptian audience was told, “while America in the past has focused on oil and gas in this part of the world, we now seek a broader engagement…on education, we will expand exchange programs, and increase scholarships, like the one that brought my father to America, while encouraging more Americans to study in Muslim communities. And we will match promising Muslim students with internships in America; invest in on-line learning for teachers and children around the world; and create a new online network, so a teenager in Kansas can communicate instantly with a teenager in Cairo.”
In what might be seen as purely coincidence, a program called Connect All Schools (which quotes Obama’s 2009 Cairo speech on its website) was creating a consortium of like-minded organizations with the goal of “connecting every school in the U.S. with the world by 2016.”
Ok, fair enough. But interestingly, one of its contributors is the Qatar Foundation International. Another coincidence? QFI was founded by the Qatari government — actually by Sheikh Hamad Al Thani and one of his three wives. All three members of the royal family including Ruling Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani are on the QFI board — the same family who brought us the Al Jeezera media network.
As you might recall, Qatar was instrumental in handling the negotiations for the prisoner swap for deserter Bowe Bergdahl, and in fact the GITMO Five were sent to Qatar. The capital of Qatar is also home to the leader of Hamas. And Qatar also does a roaring trade in slavery, narcotics and terrorism, which you can read about here.
At the same time, Qatar is apparently also very interested in young American minds, having recently invested five million dollars towards Arabic lessons for American students. Qatar also sponsors trips to visit its world class universities and explore scientific opportunities. In fact, America’s very own clock boy received such an invitation and is going to Qatar as a result of his significant scientific contributions…
