A WOMAN has been arrested in connection with “racially abusive” comments made on the Facebook page of a spa and beauty salon.
The comments were put on a beauty salons Facebook page Police acted following messages being put on the Blinks of Bicester page.They were said to include claims people of “Islamic Faith” were no longer welcome at the salon.The post read: “Blinks of Bicester are no longer taking bookings from anyone from the Islamic faith whether you are UK granted with passport or not.”Another said: “Time to put my country first.” Users on social media reacted with disgust and complaints were made to the authorities.
It comes just two days after the Paris terror attacks.
The woman, from Bicester, Oxfordshire, is being held by Thames Valley Police.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “We have arrested a 43-year-old woman in Bicester today after a number of complaints about a racially abusive post on social media.”The woman was arrested under section 19 of the Public Order Act which relates to the display of written material which is threatening, abusive or insulting with the intention of stirring up racial hatred, and for producing malicious communications…
