Donald Trump and Fox News have been at war with each other since the first GOP debate. More recently, Trump stated that he is boycotting Fox News because they aren’t being nice to him.
Newsmax recently reported that Dick Morris claimed to know the real reason why Fox and Trump aren’t getting along so well.
Morris, a former adviser to Bill Clinton, claimed that Fox News is supporting Jeb Bush and that they are doing everything in their power to make sure Bush wins the nomination.
“Let me say one thing that hasn’t been said before on TV but I’m going to say it. Fox News is in the tank for Bush,” Morris stated in an interview.
“Roger Ailes, the head of Fox News, was (President George H.W.) Bush’s main guy and main strategist. I first met Roger in 1988 when he and I worked together on Bush 41’s campaign and worked on the negative ads that sank (Michael) Dukakis,” he continued.
Morris claims that Megyn Kelly’s “attack” on Donald Trump at the first debate was orchestrated by the men upstairs.
“She never would’ve done that if she hadn’t gotten encouraged from upstairs,” Morris said. “That’s why Trump is correct for not going on there. They are set up for Bush. As soon as conservatives around the country realize that, which they will as they listen to the biased coverage, the better.”
