CNN’s Anderson Cooper is moderating next week’s Democratic debate, along with Don Lemon, and told The Huffington Post yesterday he won’t be doing any “gotcha” questions.

Cooper explained, “I’m fascinated by obscure leaders from central Africa, but I’m not going to be quizzing people on it.”

He revealed that in past debates, candidates have basically flashed him “poker tells” to get him to ask them questions and some candidates’ wives complained to him during commercial breaks (he wouldn’t say who).

Now, the problem with the Democratic debate is that, frankly, it’s not as exciting as the GOP debate…
