Lots of people are calling her last night’s winner.

Last night’s Republican presidential debate on CNN was full of many epic moments, but few compared to when Carly Fiorina took on Jeb Bush over marijuana and drug use in America.

The moments leading up to Fiorina’s comments had been centered around marijuana and the legality of medical marijuana. Rand Paul and Chris Christie were (predictably) butting heads on the issue, and Jeb Bush didn’t help anything by admitting that he smoked marijuana 40 years ago.

That’s when Fiorina stepped in and put them all to shame.

“My husband Frank and I buried a child to drug addiction, so, we must invest more in the treatment of drugs,” she said.

“We are misleading young people when we tell them that marijuana is just like having a beer. It’s not. And the marijuana that kids are smoking today is not the same as the marijuana that Jeb Bush smoked 40 years ago,” she continued.

Fiorina continued on, but apologized first to Jeb’s mother, Barbara Bush: “Sorry Barbara.”

“We need to tell young people the truth. Drug addiction is an epidemic, and it is taking too many of our young people. I know this, sadly, from personal experience,” she concluded.
