Didn’t Hitler also employ these tactics of rewriting history?
According to legal documents, a federal court has directed the New York Police Department to remove records of an investigation pertaining to the rise of Islamic extremism and the threat of the jihadist movement.
What’s one way that radical Islam can multiply under our very noses? Our nation’s courts and police can pretend that it doesn’t exist.
The Washington Free Beacon reported that Muslim advocates came to an agreement with the NYPD on purging the records on terrorism in the West, despite news that terrorists continue to plot attacks on U.S. soil.
In the settlement, the NYPD is to limit future investigations of political and religious groups, according to court documents published by the American Civil Liberties Union.
Many legal scholars explain that curtailing the NYPD could lead to a lack of intel and knowledge on “jihadization” — making New York a less safe place.
Also as part of the settlement, the NYPD is to remove an ongoing study that started back in 2007 and vow not to utilize its crucial information. The study is titled “Radicalization in the West: Homegrown Terrorism.”
Benjamin Weingarten, a conservative writer and analyst who covered the case, issued a damning declaration of the settlement to the Free Beacon:
“To pursue a see-no-Islam counter-jihadist strategy is not only absurd and contradictory on its face, but it’s a severe dereliction of duty — ignorance is not an excuse, and it represents a failure to do everything necessary to defend against an ideology that seeks to undermine the Constitution and subvert and destroy Western civilization again, according to Islamic supremacists themselves.”
Cultural jihad grows when Americans aren’t looking — it grows even quicker when the police aren’t either.
While the removal of an online handbook on radical Islam and reduction of police research on terrorism might be a lot to wrap one’s brain around, radical Muslim advocates will undoubtedly demand even more in the future.
