Ahmed Mohamed, also known as “Clock Boy,” grew up near a mosque that turns out to have been one of those mosques that actually isn’t concerned about peace and happiness.
Breitbart has reported that the “Dallas Central Mosque” has been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorism financing trial.
The mosque reportedly was only set up to help funnel money to Hamas (a terrorist organization) through the “Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development,” which was simply a front for money laundering.
The HLF was shut down and all its assets were seized after Hamas was declared by the government to be a terrorist organization in 2001.
“Five of the key leaders of the HLF were sentenced after having been convicted in November, 2008, of providing material support to the terrorist organization. Two of the leaders lived in Richardson, where the Islamic Association of North Texas is located. Another leader was from nearby Garland, Texas,” reported Breitbart.
While there has been no tangible link between the mosque and Mohamed, whose family plans to move to the Muslim world permanently, the proximity of the two to each other does make you wonder if something else was going on.“The HLF intentionally hid its financial support for Hamas behind the guise of charitable donations,” stated a report by the Department of Justice. “HLF and these five defendants provided approximately $12.4 million in support to Hamas and its goal of creating an Islamic Palestinian state by elimination the State of Israel through violent jihad.”It would appear that Texas has a terrorism problem. Luckily, Texas is probably the state best equipped to deal with this sort of problem.
