This is awesome news for Trump.
With Christian conservatives as a big part of their fan base, “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson publicly endorsed presidential candidate Donald Trump at the Oklahoma State Fair on Friday. This move is sure to upset at least one other conservative presidential hopeful, Bobby Jindal, whom Robertson expressed support for early on in the race.
According to The Daily Mail, Trump invited Robertson to join him on the stage when he asked him if he loved Trump to which Robertson answered,“I do like me some Trump, I gotta admit.”
“Here’s the deal. We’re both successful businessmen. We both have pretty big shows on television. We both have wives that are 1,000 times better looking than us, so I like Trump,” Robertson added.
Robertson told the crowd he changed his mind about Trump after Trump pledged to save Christmas when he spoke at the Value Voters Summit earlier in Washington, D.C., according to NewsMax.
At the meeting, he showed the crowd a copy of his childhood Bible and said, “The word ‘Christmas’ – I love Christmas… But you see ‘Happy Holidays’ all over.
