This is beyond reprehensible.
During her appearance in front of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, Hillary Clinton cried so many crocodile tears that every member of the genus Crocodylus became endangered overnight thanks to tear duct exhaustion.
In a vain attempt to erase the memory of, “What difference, at this point, does it make?” Hillary went solemn with her testimony. At one point, she told the committee that, “I’ve lost more sleep than all of you put together” over the lives that were lost in Benghazi.
Powerful stuff. And, completely and utterly untrue.
How do I know that? Well, testimony about a preventable terrorist attack that claimed four American lives should no doubt be a somber occasion. Hillary pretended to be giving the issue the gravity it deserves. However, what happened when she took a break?
Yes, that’s a picture of Hillary giving a Democrat congressman a high five, courtesy of our friends over at the Independent Journal. You can tell she’s really losing a lot of sleep over those four lives.
That congressman she’s high-fiving, by the way, is Florida Democrat Rep. Alcee Hastings. Hastings was impeached and convicted by Congress on a bribery charge during his time as a federal judge. However, the 1988 conviction didn’t stop him from running for Congress, and a lack of ethics has never stopped any liberal for voting for a Democrat (see also: Rangel, Charles; Edwards, John).
So, congratulations, Hillary — in spite of your best attempts to look like you were taking this seriously, you couldn’t keep up the charade for very long.
