ORANGEBURG, S.C. — Historic flooding is having a disturbing result in South Carolina cemeteries.

Floodwaters are causing caskets to be unearthed.

At least two coffins floated this weekend at Springfield Cemetery in Orangeburg, S.C., WJBF reported.

The rainfall and water have saturated the ground. The pressure pushes the coffins to the surface…
