Jeb Bush’s latest “Act of Love” is a hard-hitting video that highlights old and recent Democratic-leaning statements by Donald Trump.

The video, dubbed “The Real Donald Trump,” includes clips of Trump saying he is “very pro-choice” and that “in many cases I probably identify more as a Democrat.”

Bush is backed by the GOP’s business-boosting establishment, and he has ignored and then struggled to counter Trump’s populist appeal. In recent weeks, Bush has tried to highlight his own “proven conservative” record on the campaign trail, but the impact has been limited, leaving Bush with less than 10 percent support in many polls.

The new video suggests that the Bush team is very worried about the Trump threat, and is determined to take him down a notch, partly by spending some of the $100 million that he’s gotten from the nation’s established business interests.

The video highlights a comment Trump about how he primarily identifies his political views with New York, and not Iowa.

“I lived in New York and Manhattan my whole life, OK?” he says in one appearance. “So, you know, my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa.” The video does not admit that statement was made 16 years ago, in 1999.
