What is ReviveUSA all about anyways?
Since I committed my life to the Lord the summer before my senior year in high school I have had a burning desire for revival! The Lord changed my heart so ridiculously that I have never been satisfied for anything less than consumed with the Cause of Christ. Now I will admit there has been many times along the last 15 years that my interests have wandered to other things for extended periods of time such as; jobs, hobbies, and yes even ministry opportunities. But one thing has always been consistent a continual hunger for revival even if it was just a faint uneasiness in my heart knowing there has to be something more.
What does that mean?
Well I am glad you asked! It means that God wants to revive our hearts for Him, for His people, and He wants to turn our affections from the things of this world back to Himself. I have a great desire for the United States of America that was founded on biblical truths and ideals to wake up and repent and see God do a miraculous work in our nation! We have all become too comfortable with our surroundings and it has clouded our vision to see the true purpose for why we exist.
Now partnering with my close friend Scott Bos we have decided instead of just talking and praying about what could be. That we ourselves would do what we can to take action. The first way we know to take action is to vocalize the truth for all to hear. This blog is an attempt for 2 men to begin praying, seeking, declaring, failing, falling, getting back up, crying, rejoicing, loving, thinking, talking, praising, and ultimately seeing God bring revival to our hearts, those around us and to this great nation! IN JESUS NAME!!
