Glenn Beck makes a massive admission for which he could face serious jail time.
As hundreds of thousands of Syrian Muslim immigrants pour into nations across Europe and even to the United States, the crisis for Syrian Christians grows even more dire.
Many nations — including America, where Christian refugees have been held up at the border — have declined to take in Syrian Christians in the same numbers as Muslim refugees.
Radio host Glenn Beck has had enough of it, and in an interview he gave after the Rally Against the Iran Deal on Sept. 9, the pundit said he’ll get Christian refugees into the United States even if it means he has to risk jail time.
“Stop asking for permission! Stop thinking we need permission … I asked if my audience could raise $10 million before Christmas to bring the Christians in from Syria,” Beck said in the interview.
“We will vet them ourselves. I have former CIA people that are going over, and they’re vetting everybody right now. We can save more people by Christmas than Oscar Schindler saved, okay?”
As for the legal hurdles, Beck said, “The State Department won’t let them in? Really? Because I know some bridges over a river in Texas (where) that doesn’t seem to matter.”
Beck’s initiative, which he calls the Nazarene Fund, aims to take in the $10 million by Christmas from people of all faiths.
